Last Week in the SPL

Match Results

Vladir United produced the weekend's statement performance, beating Kropow FC 4–0 at Stadion Knjažna Floria. LAKATOS Plamen opened on 31 minutes and added a second just after the hour, with VRHOVNIK Andrei and SVETOSLAVOV Jaromir either side of him. Kropow were level at the interval in name only.

At Arena Sprodj, Union Niedzdrow won it at the death. DJUKIC Ion put Sprodj Wanderers ahead on 19 minutes, DOBROVOLNY Teodor levelled after the break, and TADIĆ Milan struck in the 90th minute for a 1–2 that took Niedzdrow to the top of the table.

Moltus Athletic and AS Douma shared a late 1–1 at Kamp Sportiv Moltus, JANKOVIC Cenk striking on 78 minutes before ČOLIĆ Niklaus answered eight minutes later. A cold, gusting evening in the valley did neither side any favours.

The night's quickest exchange came at Stadion Král Muskar XII, where FC Klow and Elbaria Athletic traded goals in two minutes: REEČKOV Romeo on 22, VLAMSEK Ratko on 24, and nothing more for 66 minutes in a 1–1.

Dynamo Klow came from behind to beat Kragoniedin City 2–1 at Stadion Hveghi Klow. TAKÁCS Vincenzo scored inside six minutes for the visitors, VRZDENEC Vlek levelled on 54, and STOOFVLEK Ulrich settled it in the 90th.

The Table

Union Niedzdrow and Vladir United are locked together on 10 points from five, and it is Niedzdrow who hold first place: the SPL separates level teams on head-to-head record before anything else, and that is where the two clubs are split. AS Douma sit third on 9 points, having already played six, while Elbaria Athletic (8) and Dynamo Klow (7) complete the top five.

Sunday's winner is also the league's leading marksman: TADIĆ Milan has four goals in only three appearances, a goal every 45 minutes of football he has played. Douma, meanwhile, have a discipline problem to manage, with DRAZEK Nicolae and MITROVIC Franz both on three yellows.
