Blushtika National Tier

Blushtika

The National tier serves as the proving ground for aspiring Grand Circuit couples.

Twelve competitions throughout the season test technical mastery and artistic expression. Many of today's Grand Circuit champions first emerged through the National circuit's demanding gauntlet.

Season Snapshot E8

National Spotlight 12

The selection of featured national couples is established by a technical panel mandated by the NCMC, on the basis of competitive performance, consistency of results, and compliance with recognised stylistic standards. Owing to editorial constraints, not all registered couples can be presented, without this implying any judgement on their level or sporting merit.

A Quiet Week on the Circuit, and the Halls Take Over

With no Grand Circuit or National meeting on the calendar, Blushtika belonged to the regional and local halls this week. Klow crowned an Autumn Cup pair, and three local floors did the rest.

Quiet Week in the Halls Before the Autumn Cup

With no Grand Circuit or National event on the calendar, Blushtika spent the week in its village halls, where three local titles changed hands ahead of a busy stretch that opens the autumn season proper.

National Schools 12

Sentinel Development Program

Tesznik · Est. 1965

Leaders
Nikola & Vera 69 pts
Total
69 pts · 3 W · 4 Pod

Where northern discipline is forged before the Grand Circuit. Training at altitude in Tesznik's harsh winters produces dancers of exceptional stamina. Many consider the Development Squad's conditions harder than the main academy itself.

Rural Institute Reserve

Sbrodj · Est. 1968

Leaders
Dušan & Milica 53 pts
Total
53 pts · 1 W · 3 Pod

The patient ones from the central plains. Reserve dancers train between harvests, competing on the National circuit while waiting for a call-up that may never come. Their underdog spirit mirrors the main Institute — victories are rare but celebrated across the valley.

Technical Institute Apprentices

Moltograd · Est. 1962

Leaders
Viktor & Maja 51 pts
Total
51 pts · 0 W · 3 Pod

Factory workers' children learning the technical style in Moltograd's industrial halls. The Apprentices program emphasizes mechanical precision — movements are drilled until they become automatic. Critics call it soulless; graduates call it preparation.

Zlip Horological Society

Zlip · Est. 1952

Leaders
Branka & Velimir 51 pts
Total
51 pts · 1 W · 3 Pod

Watchmakers who dance with mechanical precision. The Horological Society emerged from Zlip's clockmaking tradition — their timing is legendary, though some critics find their style overly rigid. Fierce supporters in the Zlip-Kragon feud, despite official neutrality.

Rural Reserve Program

Szprodik · Est. 1972

Leaders
Pavel & Daria 45 pts
Total
45 pts · 0 W · 3 Pod

The second string from the valley. When the Rural Institute Reserve fields its best, the Reserve Program fields everyone else — farmers' sons and daughters who couldn't quite make the cut but refuse to stop dancing. Heart over technique, always.

Technical Institute Industrial Section

Moltograd · Est. 1955

Leaders
Mirko & Dragana 41 pts
Total
41 pts · 1 W · 2 Pod

The factory floor division of the Technical Institute. Where the Apprentices learn theory, the Industrial Section learns by doing — assembling routines like machinery, each movement a precision component. Rivalry with the main Apprentices program is fierce but friendly.

Adriatic Youth Academy

Vrajska · Est. 1971

Leaders
Tomislav & Lena 39 pts
Total
39 pts · 1 W · 2 Pod

Coastal dancers learning their craft on the summer circuit. The Youth Section trains on the Vrajska boardwalk at dawn, mastering the fluid movements that define Adriatic style. Promotion to the main Institute is highly competitive — only two couples advance each season.

Conservatory Junior Program

Klow · Est. 1958

Leaders
Zoran & Ana 32 pts
Total
32 pts · 0 W · 2 Pod

The proving ground for the capital's rising talent. Graduates who earn promotion to the main Conservatory carry immense pressure — and those who don't often find success elsewhere, nursing quiet resentments against their former institution.

Silver Fin Institute Reserve

Pollishoff · Est. 1961

Leaders
Goran & Ljiljana 32 pts
Total
32 pts · 1 W · 2 Pod

Lake dancers waiting in the wings. The Reserve trains on the same pier as the main Institute but performs at dawn to avoid schedule conflicts. Their fluid style carries hints of morning mist — some say they dance better than the first team, just with less polish.

Railway Workers' Society

Moltograd · Est. 1947

Leaders
Vojislav & Nada 24 pts
Total
24 pts · 1 W · 1 Pod

Union-backed dancers from the railway yards. Practice schedules follow shift patterns — dawn sessions before the morning trains, evening rehearsals after the last freight. Their industrial rhythm and workers' solidarity make them formidable in team events.

Tesznik Gimnazjum

Tesznik · Est. 1971

Leaders
Borislav & Kata 24 pts
Total
24 pts · 0 W · 1 Pod

Local secondary school with a weekend dance program. The Smirnikov family has won regional titles through this program.

Klow River Academy

Klow · Est. 1964

Leaders
Natalija & Dragan 17 pts
Total
17 pts · 0 W · 1 Pod

The working-class alternative to the Central Conservatory. Founded by dock workers and river traders who wanted their children to compete without capital airs. Their style blends folk authenticity with urban edge — unpopular with the establishment, beloved by the crowds.
