About the Syldavian Sports Federation
Syldavian Sports Federation
The Syldavian Sports Federation — Zërn Föderasjön Szport Syldavë (ZFSS) — is the national authority for physical culture and competitive sport in the Kingdom of Syldavia. Founded in 1927 under the Ministry of Physical Culture, the ZFSS promotes athletic development, healthy lifestyle initiatives, and recreational activities across the Kingdom. The Federation holds direct administrative authority over three nationally recognised competitive disciplines: football, goat racing (Capra), and the traditional dance sport of Blushtika.
Institutional Mission
The Syldavian Sports Federation promotes athletic excellence, fair competition, and the preservation of the Kingdom's unique sporting heritage. The ZFSS coordinates grassroots development programmes while overseeing elite competition across all recognised disciplines.
Historical Background
The ZFSS was established on 15 March 1927, following the royal decree of King Muskar XII, who recognised the need for a unified body to administer the Kingdom's expanding sporting activities. The Federation's original headquarters occupied a modest building on Ulitza Sportova in Klow; the current premises on Bulevardul Aenszpach were inaugurated in 1971.
